Moore Marine College was born out of a desire to help students succeed in the field of Marine Biology. While there are many programs across the country for Marine Biology, most of the schools don’t offer a meaningful amount of time for students to participate in fieldwork and field research. At Moore Marine College, we’re just a short drive away from the water and we believe hands-on experience is an essential part of the learning process.


Moore Marine College is a private, four-year college that offers three degree programs related to marine biology. With a convenient location in Clearwater, Florida, students are able to learn through lectures and labs as well as out in the field with their professors.

We provide students with a diverse educational program that includes 20 days in the field each semester. For undergraduate and graduate fieldwork, we have 5 research vessels to allow students to get real-world experience and perform field research throughout their program. Students are also able to get scuba-certified as part of their tuition to enhance their field research experience.
